Stuff White People Like

Obviously I love this site, it is on my list of favorite websites. After going through it yet again this morning, I think that I may be the whitest person I know. I relate/agree with 72 out of 104 on the list. Does that make me the whitest person ever??? Not to say that it is bad, but very much a stereotype that is completely true! Here are some of my favorites:

#1: Coffee--Obvious reasons....who doesn't love coffee and live in Seattle???

#35: The Daily Show/Colbert Report--I definitely prefer The Daily Show....maybe the Jew in me??? But, hand's down two of the best shows on TV.

#63: Expensive Sandwiches--I am totally guilty on this one. Can't seem to get enough of my designer sandwiches.

#75: Threatening to Move to Canada--Listen, I've done this more times than I can count. And, I will say it again; If John McCain becomes President, I am moving to Canada. Hey, it's only a two hour drive from Seattle.

Christian Lander is a genius for creating this site. Check out his book.

Sunday Sleepers

So, I definitely underestimated the sunburn that I got. Boy, did it show it's ugly head today. My arms and shoulders are really rosy today. It's been really slow at work today because of the Pride Parade just a few blocks away. Wish I could be there to join in on all of the excitement. I cannot believe that the 4th of July is just a few days away. It seems like just a couple weeks ago that we were celebrating Kevin's birthday. Time just seems to be flying by. We will have been here in Seattle for a year in August. I still feel like I am just beginning to learn about this city. It will take years to even figure out all the streets and highways. Thank God Kevin does the little driving that we do here.

Well back to work I go, and am hitting up the local Rite Aid on the way home for some aloe to help with the burn.

Park Day

Pretty much one of the best park days ever! I did manage to get a little toasted on the shoulders though. We plan on going on Friday too!

Pad Thai

So, as of late my obsession with Pad Thai has grown significantly. And, I couldn't choose a better time in my life to have this obsession. Seattle has the best Thai food that I certainly have ever had. So, that being said, I am now on the quest to find THE best Pad Thai in Seattle. Now I know that this is a giant feat seeing as Seattle has SO many Thai restaurants. Nevertheless, I'm in for the challenge. I just hope to not gain 10 pounds in the process. So far, Buddha Thai in Belltown is the best I've had so far. And, it also gets points for being so close to everything that I frequent. So, now we are off to Buddha for something different: Amazing happy hour--starts at 10pm every night and only $3 wells!!

Lunch Time

I pretty much have these everyday for lunch while working. Totally yummy and completely dairy free! You'd think that diet food wouldn't have dairy, since it's fattening but surprisingly it's hard to find one without. I highly recommend this one, and Lean Cuisine is so tasty!

Can't get enough of

I seem to be getting my $8 worth for those 5 pack of men's V-neck T's. Add those to my fabulous new skinnies and the sandals and this has become my uniform.

This Saturday

This is where I will be. Playing some bee (frisbee) and lounging in the sun. Cannot wait!!

One of the Best

This is exactly why Radiohead will always be one of my favorites.

Best Guilt Free Purchase

So, haven't been to good ol' Forev in about 10 months. They literally just opened one up in Northgate, which is completely out of the way for me, but hey it's been 10 months. So, trekked up to Northgate on Tuesday to see what I was missing. What I found was amazing. I never thought I was the kind of gal that could wear Forev jeans. But, I was WAY wrong. For $27.80 I found the best pair of skinnies that I have ever tried! Honestly, I am not beyond spending much, (actually much, much) more on a fab pairs of jeans, but no longer do I need to. I will now spend the left over money that I used to spend on jeans on lattes and ciggies. The way God intended.
